This is a crowd favorite. Maybe because it checks all the boxes; fun fast sections, town signs, solid store stop, lots of quiet roads. The ride starts with a with the usual spin north on Parmer/Ronald Reagan before taking a turn toward Andice where we get on some proper Texas country roads. The BCC squad smashes this segment that runs into the Andice town sign but you can cruise it and enjoy the livestock and chill vibes. You can stop at the Andice General Store but we usually stop in Bertram.

Be careful crossing 183 as traffic is moving at high speed then continue on 209. This is a great stretch of road leading to 236 where you will almost always encounter some cross winds. Take a store stop in Bertram before heading out onto some more fantastic country roads. Mile 37-54 puts you on some over our favorite narrow country roads. You will encounter some rollers on this stretch but nothing sustained. If you’re rolling solo or with a small group, you may want to switch the direction of the loop for a tailwind through here. Eventually you’ll find yourself back on Ronald Reagan on your way to Red Horn for post-ride beers.
